The JCCSF decided to travel back in time to the 1980s for the annual staff party. With a goal of boosting attendance in mind, the art direction for #TBT was inspired by 1980s computer games. Because of its various iterations, Pacman was the perfect way to excite attendees from many generations. The dark, off-black-yet-slightly-purple background referenced early computer screens, while the traditional pacman colors became a modern neon. Our new marketing outreach campaign to the 500+ employees met the executive team’s goal of increased staff participation.
